This is where I occasionally write about stuff. I'm also on Twitter.
Started playing Dying Light on PC. It's pretty good so far. I also bought the "Full Experience" edition of Hitman on PC. I got it for $24, and I think that's a good deal. My ganing time for the next week or so will probably be divided between these two games.
Finished Prey again on Saturday. Pretty sure I unlocked the "best" ending. I started to catch up a bit on the TV shows I had skipped over the week, but I've still got a bunch of unwatched stuff.
Lately all of my time has been consumed by playing Prey on PC. I already beat it, and have started a second play-through. It's not the greatest game of all time, but it's got a feel of System Shock 2 meets Bioshock with a bit of Dead Space thrown-in. I really liked those games, so I'm predisposed to like this.
Apparently, I missed quite a few chunks of the game on my first run. This time around, I'm trying to do all of the side missions. My second run is also a "no alien super powers" run, so I'm going to be struggling even more than I did on my first game where I used those powers extensively.
Got my Yuki Mori figure from Space Battleship Yamato 2199 in the mail today. Bandai did a really nice job on this figure which only cost me like $23.
Scored Blu-ray rips of Himouto Umaru-chan. So I was able to update my Crunchyroll rips on my HTPC. I also ripped the Crunchy subs, so I can switch between the official R1 subs and the old streaming translation. I still plan to actually purchase the Blurays though. Same thing with Harlock: Arcadia Of My Youth. I've had a beautiful 1080p rip of that for years, but I still have to have that disc when I can get it. Anyway, this saves me from having to rip and re-encode the discs myself.
I really hope that when the next show-runner takes over Doctor Who, that we go back to having a hot companion along the lines of Karen Gillan or Jenna Coleman. This new actress looks like Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons. On the other hand, it's easier to pay more attention to the plot of the stories when you're not distracted by how much you wish you had a girlfriend or wife who looked like the companion.
I really want to get a Playstation 4, and I've got my eye on the Uncharted 4 bundle. But, I've got this nagging voice in my head telling me to wait at least until after Sony's E3 presentation next month, in case they announce a price drop there. I'd be pissed if I paid $50 more than I had to. If there's no price drop, then I waited about a month longer than I needed to to play Persona 5.
So much to do today. I've got a few unwatched anime episodes left over from the past week. I've also got new episodes of Attack On Titan, Re:Creators, Granblue Fantasy, Eromanga-sensei that came out today and Doctor Who will be on later too. I've also got a few movies I want to watch, and I want to get back to playing more of Saints Row IV. More than likely, I'll just fall asleep instead. Subtitles make me sleepy.
It's also hot as hell, but if I open the window the light shines in on the TV and then I can't see anything.
I got a manga order in from RightStuf today. I got Konosuba volumes 1-3, Steins;Gate volume 2-3, and volume 1 of The Devil Is A Part-Timer. They also threw in a few free post-its. I don't know if that was on purpose or not.
Decided to blow this shit up and start all over again. I wanted something simple and old-school. So I decided to follow the rules suggested on the LiteWeb guide. This means I ditched the huge header graphics that I was in love with a few months ago, and I won't be bothering with any Javascript.
